Sharon "Red Baron" Mosbrucker

Host - Red Baron Country

Sharon “Red Baron” Mosbrucker has a life-long love for country music, back to the 1950s music of Hank Williams Sr., Marty Robbins, Kitty Wells and Johnny Cash, with a particular soft spot for Will and Patsy. For two years in the 1990s, Sharon hosted a daily, two-hour Grand Ol’ Country Show at KHNS in Haines. Sharing her passion for good ol’ country tunes is a pleasure, and doing so for KDLL puts a kick back in her get-along.

First record selected: The Beatles, “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”

Most memorable concert: Rolling Stones, with opener Fleetwood Mac, in 1978. Tickets were $25 at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado.

Music she’d want if stranded on a desert island: The one, the only, Willy.
